Turning 200 years old needs to be highlighted right? If you’re closing in at two centuries you can always ask someone with the experience for tips. Blandy’s for example. In 2011 the Madeira wine producer arranged some historical bicentennial tastings in San Fransisco, New York, London and finally where it all started, in Funchal.

When I look back I actually have a hard time understanding how I made it all. Leaving for Funchal Tuesday – heading back home again on Sunday. All producers visited, some twice. The incoming of the grapes, picking grapes and attending some truly memorable tastings.
